Acknowledgments:

There are people many to thank when you embark on and complete a large project such as sportsbasics.com. I wish to convey my warmest thanks to all the athletes who I have had the pleasure to work with over the past years. We have shared an open dialogue and many fun moments and this has helped develop all of us. Additionally, a huge thank-you to the many coaches that I followed closely and have always inspired me.
I have had the opportunity to work at all levels in sports, from children and pure beginners to the very best in the world. This has by necessity triggered a great deal of creativity but also curiosity on my part, and it is here I hope you can be inspired to develop your current ideas and create new ones through sportsbasics.com.

In order to create the many movie clips on the site, I have required people who could demonstrate the exercises. The following persons have worked hard, and yet, they have always hurled themselves into new challenges with a smile and without hesitation. A special thanks to:

Johan Hamrin, a former gymnast and a significant contributor to many ideas, Västerås, Sweden
Mikkel Delbo, badminton, Denmark
Surachet Singorn, called Ib, “the smile” in the training hall, taekwondo, Denmark
Jennifer Granath, diving, Malmö, Sweden
Marcus Stegberg, gymnast, Västerås, Sweden
Joel Wretborn, gymnast, Västerås, Sweden
Martin Olsen, golf, Denmark
Christoffer Eskilsson, diving, Malmö, Sweden

I must also acknowledge all the others who have contributed to making this site possible in one way or another. These are many of my former and current athletes, coach colleagues and friends who have provided useful suggestions and comments.

Kenneth and Niels of Domainbox, Jens and Morten who worked around the clock and Niels H who has governed the overall guidelines. My old friend: Gary Kirby in Liverpool, England who has worked hard with the films and translated into English.

Lars Bechsgaard (lars-b.dk) for brilliant work with developing the logo.
Henning Dalhoff (dalhoff.dk), for graphical help with the folder and sportsbasic’s logo.
Bruce Frederic Mendel (brucem.dk), for inspiring forming of texts and translations into English.

I also wish to thank my family who has always supported me in my work: Kristoffer and Gustav who have invented new exercises or variants, Lone, who continuously remains my core support, and naturally my mother, father and grandmother!

A final thanks must go to all my former coaches and sports-teachers who have nurtured me in the real spirit of gymnastics and awakened my never-ending interest for all types of sports!
